Behind Bars: A Rare Look Inside Yemeni Detention Facilities

In March of this year, INPROL sent two researchers to assess the condition of Yemeni detention centers and authorities from a systems perspective, including organizational function, infrastructure, prisoner well-being, and security. The photographs and information gathered during the assessments will be part of a study of detention in Yemen to be released by the United States Institute of Peace in late summer 2014.
